The Chinch Bugs will be closing out 2008 with a first-ever New Year's Eve performance at The Eagles Club in St. Paul. We'll be going on first at 9:30, and after us will be The Whiskey Sour Notes. They are scurrilous, but very amusing and entertaining- just don't bring the kids to this one!
No cover! We'll see you there!

"The tunes on Unglued sound similar to some of the best underground guitar/keyboard
pop bands from the 1980's... in a world full of phony artists... this band's music is truly
refreshing."
LMNOP® Reviews,

"The Chinch Bugs have followed up their debut album with a collection of songs
that are easy on the ears and refreshingly fun...it seems that going back to
basics has helped the Chinch Bugs to refine their sound and claim it as their own.

"...If you truly believe "less is more", you're bound to find Infestation very palatable."
Emery Elkins,
Splendid Magazine - April 11, 2005
|
"... crisp, clean pop, lots of keys and gently strummed electric guitars...The Chinch Bugs cleverly avoid extermination on Infestation."
Nathan Dean,
Pulse of the Twin Cities - March 16, 2005

"... chinchbugs
are awful
lawn pests that suck the life from your lawn, leaving behind
a poison that will eventually turn it brown.
In contrast to the unpleasantness
of their namesakes,
I found the Chinch Bugs’ disk to be a fun listen,
and I must not have been alone..."
David de Young,

"Some tunes are simply fulfilling...while others are incredibly well-constructed and ultimately catchy. These folks most certainly have their hearts
in the right places. Pure feelgood music played with sincerity and style."
